Shopping Cart FAQ's:

1. If items are not getting added to your shopping cart:

Delete browsing history (instructions for IE 8.0)
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to Tools >Internet Options.
  3. Click on the General tab.
  4. Under Browsing history, click on Delete.
  5. In the window that pops up, check only: Temporary Internet Files and History, then click on Delete.
  6. You are now back to the Internet Options window. Under Browsing history, click on Settings button (still on the General tab).
  7. Select Every time I visit the webpage.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Close and re-open Internet Explorer.

2. If you have cookies enabled but your shopping cart says it's empty when you return to My Girlfriend's House at a later time:

Be sure you are logged in.
You can only see what your shopping cart retained if you are logged in.
If there is a link at the top that says "login" it means you are NOT logged in currently - even if if says "Hello, Your Name" on the top left.
Once you login you should see all that you had added to your shopping cart (if you did not check out to purchase the items) during your last visit.

3. To Enable Cookies for My Girlfriend's House:

  1. Open browser window (if it's not already open) and click on Tools menu, then click Internet Options.
  2. Next, click the Privacy tab.
  3. Click the "Sites..." button.
  4. In the "Address of Web Site:" type in: mygirlfriendshouse.com, then click "Allow" button. You should now see mygirlfriendshouse.com listed in the Managed Web Sites box.
  5. Click OK to close the options window.
  6. Close all browsers and open again to go back to https://mygirlfriendshouse.com

4. If you cannot add items to your Wish List:

Be sure you are logged in.
You can only see your Wish List items if you are logged in.
If there is a link at the top that says "login" it means you are NOT logged in currently.
Once you login you should see all that you had added to your Wish List.
Please note that adding items to your Wish List do not add them to your shopping cart. To move an item from your Wish List to your Shopping Cart, click the Add to Cart button under the item listing in your Wish List.

5. NOTE: You will see a message in red in the shopping cart that reads:

IMPORTANT EMAIL NOTE: If the following does not apply to you, please disregard.
Email addresses cannot end with @yourdirectsalescompany.com For instance: anyname@yourdirectsalescompany.com.
To avoid non-deliverable email, please enter an email address that is NOT routed through your direct sales company.
WE CAN NOT PROCESS YOUR ORDER IF YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS HAS YOUR COMPANY NAME IN IT.
Please use alternate addresses such as: myname@yahoo.com, myname@hotmail.com, myname@earthlink.com, myname@cox.net, etc.

If you are using your isp email such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Earthlink, etc. you can ignore this message. It's an automated message that will automatically appear each time you add an item to your cart and is just a warning for those who use their direct sales email addresses. If it doesn't apply to you just click to continue shopping, remove items, update quantities or go to the checkout area.
